Four months since the arrival of the deadly Alpha pack, Isaac Lahey is
narrowly rescued from their clutches. The students of Beacon Hills High
return from their summer break as Scott McCall and Allison Argent remain
parted, and Lydia Martin deals with her separation from Jackson
Whittemore after he moved to London. Eerie events also begin to loom
over Beacon Hills, where animals are being driven possessed,
foreshadowing the worst to come and Alpha pack leader, Deucalion,
devises a plot to turn Alpha, Derek Hale, against Scott, viewing Scott
as a potential threat.
